Registration

Equally Well believes everyone should have equal access to all resources to support our mental and physical health. And with the incredibly generous support of our sponsors, we are able to provide free registration to the 2024 Equally Well Forum for all attendees. To join the discussion at this years event, please ensure you register to secure your place at the table. This is a great opportunity to expand your network, catchup with associates, learn about new research or projects and share your experience. This event is an in-person-only event.

Location / Venue

The 2024 Equally Well Forum will be held at: RMIT University Storey Hall RMIT University Building 16, 336/348 Swanston Street Melbourne VIC 3000.

Storey Hall

Storey Hall is a modern building in the heart of Melbourne CBD. Accommodation, transport and shops are close by and the building itself is fitted with all the facilities you could need along with mobility access.

Information & Registration Desk

The registration desk will be located in the foyer directly off the auditorium. As you enter Storey Hall from Swanston Street, you will proceed up one level to the foyer and auditorium. The Information and Registration desk will operate as follows:

Tuesday, 28 May 8.00am to 2.30pm

Parking

There is no on-campus parking available, but there are many commercial car parks and metered parking available a short walk away.

Transport

The venue is close to all forms of public transport including trains, trams, buses and the Melbourne Tullamarine airport. 

  • Airport
    Melbourne Tullamarine Airport is 23km from the Melbourne CBD and is well connected by regular public bus, taxi and rideshare services. 

    SkyBus runs express services between the airport and the CBD (Southern Cross Station) approximately every 10 minutes. Tickets are card-only and can be purchased via e-kiosks at the airport, or at Skybus.

    Taxi ranks are located close to all terminals and the airport to the CBD is an approximate 30minute fare. You can estimate your fare or book online at 13cabs.

  • Trains 
    The closest train station is Melbourne Central Station/Swanston St #8. You can catch the City Loop train to nearby Flinders Street or Swanston Street stations. From there you can take a connecting train or tram.
  • Trams
    The closest tram stops:
    RMIT University/Swanston St – Trams running along Swanston Street include routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67 and 72. 
    Melbourne Central/La Trobe St – Trams running along La Trobe Street include routes 24, 30 and 35.
  • Bus
    The closest bus stop is on the corner of La Trobe & Russell Streets. Bus route 200-207 will take you into the CBD.

How to connect to the WIFI

RMIT offers complimentary WIFI access to event guests.  Access instructions will be provided to guests at the event.

Photography & Recordings

If you do not wish to be recorded or have your photo used for promotional purposes, please ensure you wear a red dot (available from the information and registration desk) on a visible area of your chest.  

Mobile Phones

Please ensure all mobile phones are switched to silent whilst in forum sessions.

On-Site Social Worker

Belinda Cash will be available on site should you be seeking support during the event.  Belinda can be contacted on 02 6051 9270 or staff on the Information and Registration Desk can located Belinda for you.

Wellness Room

There will be an allocated space above the auditorium for anyone experiencing discomfort during the event.  This room is a dedicated quiet and safe space.  

Our volunteers (wearing the Hi Vis vests) or staff on the Information and Registration Desk can assist you to locate the room.

Safety on Campus

For emergency situations on campus, security staff are available to respond immediately.
RMIT Security is also the contact point for after-hours building access and lost property.
