Darren Wagner is a lived experience researcher, educator, and social justice advocate. His work is informed by his personal experiences as well as those he has supported over the decades in his many roles. Darren's research interests include arts-based research, and the interface between trauma and mental health. Darren is currently working on his PhD with his research exploring the role of mental health peer workers and how this emerging workforce might be expanded and made more sustainable in rural and regional communities in Australia.
