Mark has over 30 years’ experience working in the areas of disability, mental health, and LGBTQ health services, with experience in both government and community managed organisations. He is a registered psychologist, and currently CEO of a large specialist mental health service provider, Flourish Australia, supporting people with complex mental health issues. A qualified and experienced board director in human services and health organisations, Mark holds directorships of Mental Health Australia and the Mental Health Coordinating Council, and is a director and president of Health Equity Matters. Mark is committed to co-producing trauma-informed and integrated services that support people to self-manage and improve their physical health, and to live their best life as part of their local community, inspired by Flourish Australia’s Back on Track Health program and informed by its associated research program. He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2019 for significant services to community health through a range of initiatives.
