Sumana Thomson

Dr Sumana Thomson is a Consultant Psychiatrist at the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network and Clinical Academic at the University of Adelaide, where she is completing her PhD in health literacy and psychosis. In her clinical time, Dr Thomson works across multiple roles, including Emergency Psychiatry, Sonder and Private Practice. She is passionate about health equity, the role of social determinants in health and supporting access to health care for our diverse communities. In her spare time, she enjoys creative writing and poetry.
