Gaby Bednarek

Gabriella Bednarek (BSc, DPT) is a physiotherapist at Eastern Health, currently working in the mental health sector after transitioning from inpatient rehabilitation, where she specialized in musculoskeletal and amputee care. She is an active member of the aquatic leadership group, promoting hydrotherapy and supporting staff education. Gabriella has coordinated the peer learning program for Grade 1 physiotherapists, coordinated student placements and contributed to developing an amputee care pathway connecting inpatient and community services. She is now focused on advancing the role of physiotherapy within the mental health setting and advocating for mental health awareness in the physical health space.
