Michelle Quirk

Trevor Parry Centre

Michelle Quirk currently works at the Trevor Parry Centre in Adelaide. She works as a Community Rehabilitation Worker. Michelle has a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia and has over 30 years of lived experience. She has a master's in philosophy and legal studies. Her thesis (which was published as a book) focused on informed consent for schizophrenic patients. At the Trevor Parry Centre her role is to work with mental health consumers in a variety of supportive ways, including to support them to exist as equally well as the rest of society.
