April Simes

April Simes is the Senior Business Analyst for the SA Mental Health Clinical Program and the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist, working within the Information Management and Performance Monitoring Unit (IMPMU) since 2021. With over 20 years in NSW and SA Health, April has extensive expertise in health datasets, data warehousing, and reporting tools. April led the design and implementation of the Mental Health Operational Data Domain (MHODD) and prepared SA for Mental Health Activity Based Funding. As sole developer of the Mental Health Data and Analytics Platform (DAP), April integrated diverse datasets using Azure, Snowflake, Denodo, and Power BI.
