Join us in Adelaide for the 2025 Conference

The 2025 Equally Well Conference will bring people together in person and virtually from across the mental health sector to share innovative projects and research from across Australia and overseas that focus attention on how to improve the physical quality of life for people with a lived experience of mental health challenges.

Join our diverse and inclusive event which includes people with lived experience, academics, health leaders, clinicians, policy officers and advocates to highlight new and innovative ways we are working collaboratively to improve health equity and save lives by challenging conventions on what quality mental and physical health care looks like.

The event also offers workshops for skill development and networking opportunities to identify areas for collaboration.

Equally well is coming to South Australia.

For the first time since our inaugural event in 2019, the Equally Well Conference is being held in Adelaide. Holding our national event in South Australia, we hope will enable more participants to attend from the northern and western areas of the country.

Getting here

The program showcases positive actions taking place to improve physical health outcomes for people in the mental health system and opportunities to identify ways to work better together to remove barriers and challenges that prevent advancement of physical health needs for people living with mental health challenges.

Along with research, practice case studies, interactive workshops and engaging main stage presentations, the conference highlights include;

  • Equally Well Achievement Awards – these awards are an opportunity to recognise projects and activities being undertaken by organisations or individuals who are making an impact in improving the physical health outcomes of people living with mental illness.
  • Equally Well Call to Action launch – the lived experience leadership and collective action plan for change.
  • Data linkage project report launch – the follow up to the 2024 Unequally Unwell Report, looking at the latest analysis.
